  • Mythology and Colonial past
Cabo de Rama has a history tied to the Indian epic Ramayana. It is believed that Lord Ramachandra, also known as Lord Rama, stayed here with his wife Sita during their exile. This connection gives the place its name, "Cabo de Rama," which means "Cape of Rama."
Later, the area became significant for other reasons. The Portuguese took control of the fort in the 18th century, using it as a military outpost. They made changes to the fort, adding cannons and strengthening the walls. Over time, the fort saw various rulers and battles, witnessing the region's dynamic history.

This website is mainly focused to assist travel in India. As noticed some lacks in other websites - which indulged me to devote my time to create such a site which really help people to gather information and travel easy with necessary data on hand. Its not focused for business purposes. Don’t want to claim that all data given here are thoroughly checked and assured to be correct. But have tried to collect data from various sources to help out most. In today's time, everyone is well connected through internet. So, before finalizing any deal its highly recommended to be diligent enough to check the authenticity against any possible fraud. By any mean, my trial will be to deliver as much data as possible and not-to-concentrate on assured data. Otherwise making this website would not be possible-as I am currently working mainly by myself and with very limited resources.
